Differences between Topical and Transdermal CBD Oil
What is the difference between Topical CBD and Transdermal CBD you ask?
Well, Topicals are applied to the skin but they only work ON the skin. They generally work on the top 3 layers of skin, it’s surrounding area, and that is all. They do not penetrate through the skin. Topical CBD comes in the form of lotions, salves and balms.
Transdermal CBD on the other hand, still applied to the skin does actually absorb and penetrate through the skin into the bloodstream. These types of products come in the forms of patches and wraps, greatly used for neck pain, lower back pain, knees and wrists.
