Cannabidiol (CBD) - Award Winning CBD By Global CBD Featuring Nano CBD
As we all know, Wikipedia is the next generation destination for any definition. For this article we want to visit the core disclosure of what exactly CBD is from multiple sources, as well as deliver a few points on why it's important to understand CBD from a 360 degree perspective.
Note: According to the FDA we are not allowed to say a lot of things about CBD. We cannot say it cures Cancer. We can't tell you that it helps Parkinson's. We can't say that it is anti-microbial or anti-bacterial. We can't tell you that it empowers your Thyroid. You get the picture. We basically aren't allowed to say anything about CBD that puts it in the same sentence as an ailment or disease. So let's get started. Any comments below in italics are the authors opinion. So let's see what WIKI says about CBD:
WIKI: Cannabidiol (CBD) is a phytocannabinoid discovered in the year of 1940 (does this mean that is the first time it was recognized in a science journal because we know humans have been using it for thousands of years).
WIKI CONT'D (no alterations to Wiki's definition in this paragraph): It is one of some 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants and accounts for up to 40% of the plant's extract. In 2018, clinical research on cannabidiol included preliminary studies of anxiety, cognition, movement disorders, and pain.
Cannabidiol can be taken into the body in many, many different ways, including by inhalation of cannabis smoke or vapor, as an aerosol spray into the cheek, and by mouth. It may be supplied as CBD oil containing only CBD as the active ingredient (no included tetrahydrocannabinol [THC] or terpenes), a full-plant CBD-dominant hemp extract oil, capsules, dried cannabis, or as a prescription liquid solution. CBD does not have the same psychoactivity as THC, and may affect the actions of THC. Although in vitro studies indicate CBD may interact with different biological targets, including cannabinoid receptors and other neurotransmitter receptors, as of 2018 the mechanism of action for its biological effects has not been determined.
In the United States, the cannabidiol drug Epidiolex has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration for treatment of two epilepsy disorders (meanwhile the CBD industry has cont'd to experience harassment and suppression of the natural CBD oil including all CBD products because if they can't control it, they suppress it). The side effects of long-term use of the drug include somnolence, decreased appetite, diarrhea, fatigue, malaise, weakness, and sleeping problems. (wow, what a list, interesting that side effects of CBD taken naturally are virtually non-existent).
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has assigned Epidiolex a Schedule V classification and CBD extracted from marijuana a Schedule I drug classification; although, CBD extracted from hemp is a federally lawful substance due to section 10113 of the Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018 removing cannabinoids and extracts of hemp under 0.3% total THC from the Controlled Substances Act. Cannabidiol is not scheduled under any United Nations drug control treaties and in 2018 the World Health Organization recommended that it remain unscheduled.
Let's finish with Wiki's version of what CBD is and move onto a few notes from the author here:
